Pop-up ads are headed to a third screen near you. Some startups are already on starting to push technology that will deliver pop-ups to mobile phones.
Worse the ads won’t necessarily pop when using a browser, but rather can pop-up when the phone’s screen is idle! Some of the companies behind these ads suggest they’ll work on ads that users won’t find annoying. But let me ask this question: When was the last time you didn’t find a pop-up ad annoying?
