In the mini review by Marc “The Sharc” Orchant we link below, it’s notable that a Skype handset “feels funny.” Think about it: we either use Skype with a headset or a webcam with microphone and speakers. We rarely hold something up to our heads unless it’s a cellphone or, heaven forfend, a landline phone. Therefore, says Marc, the cognitive dissonance of dialing with a mouse and talking at Skype’s varying levels of audio quality is a bit much. But we’ll all get over that, right?
